![]() I watched an opponent slam into another car, send a delivery truck flying, and keep going at 150 mph, whereas my car would hit a curb the wrong way and flip upside down and into reverse while doing barrel rolls at 120 RPM and somehow in the time it took me to reset the car or just keep driving they would go from 5 seconds behind me to 10 seconds ahead of me in the spam of 3 seconds of actual gameplay. I rarely got to see them actually hit another car however, even after I switched to easy mode after 30 minutes of playing. ![]() I could still beat them, I've been playing this game on hard mode up till this race. I'm going slower than them, and I can't turn as fast as them even though my car has a better handling rating! Grr, angst rising. ![]() I would watch them change lanes like they were going 30 mph and had been sped up in fast forward to dodge civillian cars. 2 seconds later, they passed me going 300 mph in a car that has a lower top speed than mine. Only to look up and see that they were gaining on me. 3 cars that I consistently would get a headstart on and begin cruising several seconds ahead of them at 170 mph happily corning turns in 6th gear. Its a 6 lap circuit featuring 3 cars vs my Nissan Skyline. But I have to rant anyway.ΔΆ330 hours, I sat down to play Kurt's New Ride, like race 96 or something, I can't remember. Anyhow, I'm sure that you've played NSFU1 by now and know how much it sucks. So when she pulled out NSFU1 for me to play, I was quite happy. See, earlier, when my GF got her gamecube for xmas, we plaed NSFU2, which was actually the first racing game that I ever played seriously, and even though I hate ricing, I thought it was extremely fun and the gameplay was wonderful. After 24 hours of Harvest Moon: AWL, I thought that I'd resume NSFU 1. I sat down for a more high paced approach to gaming. I'd like to begin this post by describing my night last night. ![]()
